Traditional Karate is for those that prefer the practice and learning of a more traditional style.
Students progress by practicing basic to advanced striking and defensive skills while developing the attributes of resilience, respect and discipline to meet the CMAG objective of life skill development.
Combat Karate classes cover techniques that will prepare you to defend yourself from a standing position, spar in class and progress through belt ranks. You will practice all the familiar Karate blocks, kicks and strikes, along with new contemporary sparring techniques.

MMA at CMAG draws predominantly on the styles of boxing, old school Taekwondo and wrestling, in conjunction with real world violence management. With most people not able to or not willing to pursue competitive MMA the focus is on using these skill sets and others for advanced self protection.

Utilizing all 8 weapons, plus a heavy focus on the clinch, Kickboxing is a well rounded effective and efficient skill base that will meet your fitness, capability, and self defence requirements from the novice to the advanced member.
